Stuff You Need To Know About Resell and Private Label Rights
These days, products with “rights” are being bought and sold everywhere by seemingly everyone. And it’s great! Cheap, pre-made content!
But do you REALLY have the rights you think you do?
Recently, I was informed that some Private Label Products I was selling did NOT have rights to be resold - even though the “rights” document included with the package said I did. This concerned me greatly.
You need to be aware of the problems that can arise for you if this happens to you. Just because you “didn’t know” or were misinformed, does not eman you can’t get into trouble.
So, since I am no lawyer, I decided to contact attorney Mike Young and get his thougths on this issue. What resulted is this 40 plus minute interview. You need to listen.
Two things first - you don’t have rights to this interview other than personal use. You may NOT give it away, sell it, etc.
Second, this disclaimer:
“The information provided by Attorney Mike Young is general in nature,
should not be construed to be formal legal advice or the formation of a
lawyer/client relationship, and is not a substitute for legal advice.
Consult an attorney to address specific legal issues.”
So, sit back and listen - and have your eyes opened.

Michael thanks for making this available. I haven’t listened yet but will download it and check it out tonight.
I have the same concerns that were brought to light by some unpleasant emails I received.
One was copyright infringement for a companies name that was used in a plr article on a purchased adsense site. They were not pleased with the article and the way their name was used. My hosting provider disabled the site and asked questions later.
The other was a “piece” of an image used in a header of a header graphics package with master resale rights. It was an expensive piece.
Your statement:
“Just because you “didn’t know” or were misinformed, does not eman you can’t get into trouble”
is dead on.
I look forward to the interview.
